Gladwyne Junior Author Contest Winners

Congratulations to the eight Baldwin Lower School students who have been honored by the Gladwyne Junior Author Contest. In the Fiction category, Honorable Mention went to Riya Srinivasan ’31 for “The Penguin War” and Lina Kuoch ’33 for “Spot Kicks.” In the Poetry category, second place went to Melissa Fukuda ’31 for “If Someone Talks Behind Your Back” and Charlotte Borofsky ’35 for “Mama and Me.” Third place in Poetry went to Diba Sanikhatam ’31 for “Afraid to Ask” and Zoe Borofsky ’35 for “Self Portrait.” Honorable Mentions in Poetry went to Samara Manjeshwar ’31 for “New Beginnings” and Emma Armstrong ’31 for “Showing Courage.”
